I loved it! The style, the color scheme, the panels… it all fit with the story perfectly. We get new problems, new characters, and more Iko!Īnd of course there’s the artwork. It has all the things I loved about the previous stories but with its own twist. This is a new story with Iko at it’s heart. However, this book isn’t an epilogue to the Lunar Chronicles. I loved seeing their friendships and relationships develop. Of course they are! They’re as integral to Iko’s story as she was to theirs. Seeing what happens after “happily ever after” is always fun! Cinder, Kai, Scarlet, Wolf, Cress, Thorne, Winter and Jacin are all present in the story. I loved that we got to catch up with the characters from the novels. Wires and Nerve: Volume One by Marissa Meyer did not disappoint! I flew through it and loved it so much. And a graphic novel? YES!!!! I mean, just look at that gorgeous artwork: I was so thrilled to hear that we would be getting more of her story. I love the world, the fairy tale aspect, the characters… everything! One of my very favorite characters is Iko. It’s no secret that I love Cinder and the rest of the Lunar Chronicles series.

With appearances by Cinder and the rest of the Rampion crew, this is a must-have for fans of the bestselling series. She is soon working with a handsome royal guard who forces her to question everything she knows about love, loyalty, and her own humanity. When rogue packs of wolf-hybrid soldiers threaten the tenuous peace alliance between Earth and Luna, Iko takes it upon herself to hunt down the soldiers' leader.

In her first graphic novel, bestselling author Marissa Meyer extends the world of the Lunar Chronicles with a brand-new, action-packed story about Iko, the android with a heart of (mechanized) gold. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. I received this Finished Copy from Publisher for free in exchange for an honest review.
